IWS provides Jewish kids with opportunities to connect with their peers in Sydney’s inner west and to explore Jewish identity, culture, history and religion.

IWS’s education program is delivered in partnership with Emanuel Synagogue. The program teaches key Jewish concepts and language, and explores what it means to be Jewish in the unique Inner West context. The curriculum uses the annual festival cycle and relates Jewish ethics and stories to contemporary life. IWS’s education program runs monthly on Sunday afternoons at Ashfield Civic Centre.
