Join us for an educational and inspirational ceremony, as we welcome a new Sefer Torah into our community.

Celebrate the gift of Torah Torah

The Hauser Family has joyfully dedicated a Sefer Torah to our congregation‭. The Torah is ‬in loving memory of Alexander Hauser who provided the family with invaluable and unconditional love, guidance and inspiration‭. ‬This Sefer Torah will be an eternal remembrance for him and a source of pride‭, ‬prayer and learning for our‭ congregation‭.‬

The family would like to invite you to participate in this uplifting and impactful project‭. ‬

The very last mitzvah in the Torah is to write a Torah Scroll‭, ‬and it is an honour and great‭ ‬mitzvah to participate in the writing of a Sefer Torah‭.

This is a special opportunity to learn more about what goes into writing a Sefer Torah‭, ‬to watch as the scribe writes the final‭ ‬letters‭, ‬and to welcome our newest Sefer Torah‭. ‬

Please join us on Sunday‭, ‬30‭ ‬June 2019‭ ‬at 11:00am‭, ‬as we celebrate the dedication of this Sefer Torah‭.‬

If you would like to make a donation in sponsoring a letter that the scribe will will write in the Torah on your behalf, you can do so when registering or on the day. You are not required to make a donation to participate in this uplifting and special ceremony.
