Award-winning chef, Michael Rantissi grew up in Tel Aviv and trained in Israel, Paris and New York. He moved to Sydney in 2005, working as Sous Chef at iconic institution The Bathers’ Pavilion before opening Kepos Street Kitchen in 2012 and Kepos & Co. in 2015. These two restaurants have quickly become Sydney icons with Good Food exclaiming “somebody in the kitchen can bake like an angel”.
Michael’s first cookbook with his partner Kristy Frawley, Falafel for Breakfast is a collection of modern Middle Eastern recipes for the shared table. His new cookbook, Hummus & Co. is a collection of recipes that Michael and Kristy like to cook at home.
