We are all shocked and horrified by, as our Prime Minister has said: “the abhorrent attack on Israel,” especially with its abominable strategic focus on “civilians being targeted, killed and murdered and as well, many of them being taken as hostages.”

We reiterate our unequivocal support for Israel’s right to defend herself and with loving hearts, we embrace all those who are grieving losses, who fear for the safety of kidnapped or missing loved ones, and who continue to confront and suffer this terror. Our prayers are with them and all those who stand to defend Israel from this attack.

We know so many in our congregation have family, friends and loved ones in Israel and we enfold you in our prayers at this frightening time and hope you can find strength and support with our congregational family.
