Membership Process

We invite you to find your unique place in our community, whether it be through spiritual engagement, a vast array of learning programs, cultural initiatives, social justice work or social activities. We welcome each and all to our community who wish to join in meaningful, multigenerational marking of life’s milestones.

membership benefits

Your membership supports the values of our sacred community in all of our services, programmes and activities while providing you a sense of connection and belonging.

There are several categories of membership for Emanuel Synagogue:

Our youth membership rates are on a sliding scale from the age of 21, increasing every few years until the age of 35 (at which time one moves to the full membership rate).

We are happy to offer a 15% discount to families from Emanuel School and the Emanuel Woollahra Preschool.

We are proud to say that no one is denied membership for financial reasons and fee subsidies are available on request.
