Music of Emanuel
The music of the High Holidays reflects the powerful liturgical themes of the season. The liturgy focuses on repentance, God’s grandeur and compassion, human frailty and the power of forgiveness. Prayers like Kol Nidrei, Unetaneh Tokef and Avinu Malkeinu are so deeply embedded in our collective Jewish souls that is is inconceivable to imagine a Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur service without them. We are excited to gather together again after two years of isolation and look forward to singing our Yamim Noraim melodies in community.
