Mardi Gras Shabbat

Every year we gather together on the Shabbat of Mardi Gras weekend for a celebratory Shabbat service followed by dinner.

During the service, special readings embracing and honouring our LGBTQI+ community are included as well as some words from the rabbi and joyous music from the Shabbat Live Band.

Shabbat Hagevurah

The Shabbat before Yom Hashoah is dedicated to remembering those who were murdered in the Shoah and standing together with the survivors and as a community to honour and say kaddish for all the lost souls.

Readings, poetry and music will help us to connect with this time.

Mourning

Anzac Shabbat

A special Shabbat service, close to Anzac Day, honouring all the members of our armed services and remembering those who lost their lives in wartime, fighting for our freedom and the values we hold dear.

Following the service, book and stay for Shabbat dinner.

Farhud Memorial Shabbat

A Shabbat service with music from the Mizrachi and Sephardi communities as we commemorate the lives and communities lost in Iraq and other Middle Eastern countries.

Our service will be enhanced with poetry and melodies heralding from these areas, celebrating the richness of the cultural life of these Jews, as well as a time to remember the tragedy and those who were murdered.

Afterwards, a special Shabbat dinner with Middle Eastern and Iraqi feast!
